Instrument once. See everywhere.

🔭

Distributed tracing

Luminary propagates trace context automatically across HTTP, gRPC, and message queue boundaries — no manual instrumentation required. Every span carries service name, version, and environment so you can filter immediately. Supports W3C Trace Context, B3, and OpenTelemetry out of the box.

🚨

Alerting that understands context

Luminary's alerting engine evaluates conditions against baseline windows — not static thresholds set once and forgotten. Alerts include the full trace context from the moment the condition fired, so your on-call engineer sees exactly what changed and where, without needing to reproduce the scenario.

Start instrumenting in five minutes

Luminary is free and open source. The managed ingestion tier handles up to 1M spans per day at no cost.
